We had a great time this year and a very successful camp. Parents told us their children did not want to leave camp but wanted to stay longer each day. Parents complemented us on the quality of the camp and how much fun their kids were having.
We put in all the hard work to have an English camp so that we might glorify God, share his good news, and bless the community.
And that was the case this year at English camp. Each day during Bible time one of our teen leaders shared their testimony. The campers aged 8 to 12 heard testimonies from kids just a little bit older than them.
The highlight of the camp was the final afternoon. Parents came to see the kids perform skits from Caps for sale, Are you my Mother, Green Eggs And Ham, and The Cat in the Hat. And the kids showed off some of our dances too.
In the middle of the program our pastor’s wife shared her testimony with everyone.
And at the end of the program members of our church mingled and chatted with parents of the campers creating connections, and planting seeds for future interactions.
One parent shared with our pastor how much their children loved the Bible stories. They even asked if their children could visit our church and hear more Bible stories.
Thank you for your prayers. Our heavenly Father heard them and was loving and gracious to help us through this camp.
We are really thankful we could have camp this summer. All the kids and parents said they would be back next year!
Please pray for the seeds we have planted with your partnership to grow into new life!
Pray with us for a great harvest!
