Journey with me...
I have had a heart for missions since I was young.
Growing up in Slovakia as a missionary kid, or kid missionary, as my parents would say, I participated in my parents’ ministry and the ministries of others in Slovakia.
As I got older, I yearned for a deeper relationship with God and began pursuing a personal relationship with Him. This is a lifelong journey and I am still growing in this process.
As I grew in my knowledge of God and my relationship with Him, I began finding ways I could serve Him where I was. This included starting girls groups and bible studies, leading youth groups and community hang out times, as well as helping at Christian camps as a leader and counselor/discipler.
Being deeply involved in ministry in Slovakia made choosing a university a tough decision. I knew I wanted to continue doing ministry but I wanted to get solid foundational, biblical training. This lead me to leave Slovakia for the time being.
Now, I am a sophomore studying Missions and Community Development at Covenant College, strengthening my faith and learning ways to serve Him better.
I want to invite you to come along with me on this journey as I share insights from what I learn and stories of how I serve the King right where I am (but also across the ocean) even now, as a student.
